[edit] BACKGROUND
Daniel Jusitnson was born is Chepstow Wales the son of a Police Officer and an Architect he spent most of his childhood in the UK but often spent his Summers with his family on other Federation Worlds, as his parents didn't want him to be sheltered. When Danny was 5 his parents had their second child, a daughter named Jane. A year later they adopted a young Vulcan girl, who's parents had been killed in a mugging turned murder.
Dan did okay in school, he knew he was never going to be a hard core academic, instead spending his free time playing sports, taking a preference to Football and Soccer. When he was 15 he began to seriously think about his future. Part of him wanted to follow his fathers footsteps and become a cop, but at the same time he wanted an adventure. So when he was 18 he enlisted in Starfleet, heading to Montreal to complete his basic training.
As the Dominion War came to a close Starfleet's Enlisted training was being restructure. The war years had scene the training cut down, getting crewman the bare basics before they were deployed to front line combat. Now the training was being fleshed out again. In 2376, Crewman Apprentice Justinson was assigned to the USS Resolute (NCC-32326), a Miranda class starship assigned to Battle Group 3, based out of the recently reactivated Empok Nor. Dan specialized in the Security field, seeming to have his fathers knack for law enforcement.
Following the completion of his training Crewman Justinson remained on the Resolute for another 2 years before being promoted to Petty Officer Third Class and assigned as a Patrol Team leader aboard the Prometheus-class USS Tripitz (NCC-80015). Three years after joined the Tripitz he was promoted and made the Shift Supervisor for all the Gamma Shift Patrol teams. He served in this post during Addison Black's tenure in command, as well as the Keralen War.
Following the end of the war Dan remained aboard the Tripitz when it moved to it's new home port, Starbase 747. In 2385 he moved to the Sigma Librae Outpost and joined it's security department, under Staff Sergeant William Perry.
