The Dean of Command School (DCS) is responsible for overseeing the training of all officers who wish to take up the role of Executive and Commanding Officer (also termed Command Officers) within the Fleet. The role may be combined with that of Academy Commandant or Chief of Personnel Administration or be a stand alone posting. They serve at the pleasure of the Commander-in-Chief.

The Current Dean of Command School is Commodore Matt Antrobus.
