The Dynar system is a 5-planet system halfway between Starbase 326 and Sigma Librae. It is unique in that there is a double M-class planet in the habitable zone, both with equivalent civilisations.

Star: G-class, 1,266,000,000 km diameter.
Asteroid belt: 5000 asteroids between 15 and 20 AU, most of the belt has been absorbed by "" as natural satellites.

Tidally locked. The sun side is extremely volcanic. The dark side is almost exclusively cooled lava flows. Atmosphere is minimal, mostly sulphur and CO2.

One of the natural satellites is 10,000 km wide and has 85% water. It orbits the planet's habitable zone at 0.25 AU and may support life. 99% of the rest of the satellites are small asteroids.

Natural satellites range in size from 10km to 10,000 km. All rocky and barren.
[edit] Civilisation notes
Much of the culture of these two worlds is unknown as the Federation has yet to perform more than a cursory survey of the system.
Both planets are at a similar level of technology, roughly 1960s Earth. They both have just begun their space programs, which include exploring and contacting the other planet. They had both developed radio decades earlier, and have been in diplomatic contact since. Weapons technology includes advanced nuclear arms. Both planets are split between dozens of countries, though "" has three superpowers and "" two.
Both planets have similar religions. They are polytheistic and believe the large red cloud in the night sky (a supernova remnant, roughly 5,000 years old and just 2 trillion kilometers away) is "Heaven" where the Gods live and where souls go when you die.
