Jason Stimms

Jason was born in a small family living in the north-eastern regions of France. His mother Anne worked mostly at home because she owned a small vineyard. Because he is not that bright, he never really enjoyed school that much and spend a lot of time working on the wine yard with his mother. On the vineyard he learned the finer art of organising on his own pace. It was also a place to be alone for him, since the children at school weren't always nice to him.

His sister Joan was two years younger than him, but achieved higher grades then Jason on school. Jason was always slightly jealous of his sisters intelligence. After her studies she gained a job in designing civilian star ships in Paris. He did graduate high school and he decided that he had to prove that he was worth something and enrolled at Starfleet Academy when he turned 18.

His friend Paul signed up together with him. He found it daunting to be at the Academy, however he was a more serious student than his classmate. During his classes Jason achieved good scores and graduated in the top half of his class.

During his academy time he learned that his sister had met up with Paul and had found out later that he had gotten his sister pregnant. This upset him a great deal and told the pair he wanted nothing to do with them. A year later he learned from his mother that Joan had a baby girl called Anna Marie. While on Starbase 229, his mother asked him to re-establish contact with Joan, but Jason refused.

Career History

In 2374 he was assigned as a Crewman to the USS Jericho-A in the Operations department. In 2375 he earned promotion to Petty Officer 3rd Class for his outstanding hard work. Two years later Jason earned another promotion to Petty Officer 2nd class. This promotion was helped when Jason organized an effective fire control force against a fire that had broken out on Starbase 229’s main promenade.

At the end of 2382 Jason had achieved the rank Petty Officer 1st class. Shortly after his promotion Jason learned of his next assignment to that of the USS Abraham. His time on the Akira-class vessel allowed him to further develop his skills on his own pace.

In 2384 Jason was promoted to Ensign. He earned this promotion because he kept his Commanding Officer alive for six weeks after a shuttle crash. Jason had been the only one not wounded and managed to gather sufficient supplies to hold out until they were rescued. He later was offered the position of Boatswain. In 2385 Jason learned that he was to be transferred to USS London as an engineer. He personally considers this a very tough test for his skills.

Later in 2385 Jason was re-assigned to the USS Oberon (NCC-80111) as an Operation Officer. The Luna-class vessel is currently exploring the Hurucan Sector out of an Outpost on Sigma Librae II.
