Jessie is the bubbly Chief of Operations aboard the USS Athena (NCC-80353).
[edit] BACKGROUND
Jessie loves her family and being on a farm, but doesn't have any interest in taking it over, and knew she wanted to do more and become more. Her High School Counselor suggested joining Starfleet, but her parent's didn't want their children involved with such nonsense in their eyes. A few years had gone by after graduating, and during that time, Jessie had secretly accessed the Starfleet Public database learning as much as she could. She had no intention of wanting to be an officer, but just to experience the opportunities Starfleet could offer. And Jessie saw they were nearly limitless.
While growing up on the farm, Jessie enjoyed making supply runs in the family personal shuttle. Yes, they could always have had goods transported to their farm, but Jessie felt it more fun. Flying was something else Jessie enjoyed, though she had no intention of being at the helm of a Starship, as she figured freezing up during the middle of a Picard Maneuver would look bad on her resume.
Jessie hopes to be assigned to a position in the Operations Department on a ship so that she can help her crewmates in a more behind the scenes way... or so she thought.
