Kallie is the current Chief Tactical Officer aboard the Barnes.

BACKGROUND

Kallie was born on the way to Earth in August 2295 with her identical sister Saphi. Their parents had left El-Aura 3 years earlier aboard a refugee transport. Their father was a member of the small El-Aurian defense fleet and having seen his wife safely to Earth left to return to El-Auria in some attempt to stave of the Borg invasion, he was never heard from again.

Kalie and her sister were brought up in California where their mother had gained a job in Starfleet as a scientific advisor at starfleet command. Kallie and her sister had a strong bond during their childhood, as with all El-Aurian twins, the natural empathy of the species is strongly enhanced between them to the point at which they almost feel the same things at the same time. They both attended one of the last remaining all girl schools in California, where they studied in science and literature, Kallie even took extra classes to learn about the Klingon culture and learn to speak Klingon.

At 20 Kallie joined Starfleet, her sister had joined two years earlier. She took a joint course in Science and Operations. Academy life when well for Kallie, that was until her third year. It was hard for Kallie to be away from her sister for the first few months, they had never really been far apart until then, but Sal had been assigned to a deep space mission aboard the USS Resilient.

Kallie graduated at the end of her fourth year with reasonable grades, she found herself assigned to the USS Enterprise C under the command of Captain Rachel Garrett. Life on the Enterprise was far different than Kallie had expected, she felt out of place and struggled to find friends aboard the ship. Not that they weren't trying but she could fit in. It took about two years aboard the Enterprise before she began to feel comfortable, but there was always a nagging feeling that she could never shake.

Kallie spent 6 years on the Enterprise, in which time she failed to recieve a promotion, Captain Garrett claimed that "Despite ample opportunity and ample support Ensign Leneir has failed to show promise or worth of promotion, it is for this reason I am recommending her reassignment"

Kallie was moved to the USS Kidarra, it was an old science vessel her mother was assigned to, Starfleet Personal had decided that she would probably do better with family support rather than normal support. They were correct within four years Kallie had worked hew way up to Lieutenant.

For thirty years Kallie and her mother were aboard the aging science vessel. The original commanding officer had since left and two new COs had passed though. Despite attempts to promote Kallie she had declined promotion. She didn't feel comfortable with seniority claiming she would rather stay where she was.

In 2365 Kallie Married the ships second officer, Lieutenant Commander Jason Neston. They had fallen in love shortly after he has transferred aboard four years earlier. However two years after they were married, the USS Kidarra was called to an emergency. the fleet was combining at Wolf359 to face of against the Borg. The battle went from bad to worse as soon as the cube arrived, the Kidarra didn't stand a chance, within seconds the ships shields were down. Kallie was at her station in science lab two when the ship shook violently, before long intruder alarms sounded, followed seconds later be another siren, the self-destruct and evacuation alarms sounded. Kallie scared for her life ran to the nearest escape pod, she tried to contact her husband and mother, but when she was confronted by several Borg and two other crew, while one fell and was injected with Nanites, Kallie managed to pull the other into the pod and eject it. Nobody else made it to her pod, she and 32 other crew out of 312 survived, 16 confirmed dead all others assumed assimilated. Kallie had lost both her mother and her husband.

Kallie moved to live on Starbase 210 with her sister. She couldn't face starfleet, so she resigned.

Three months after Wofl359 it was discovered that Kallie was pregnant with Jason's child she gave birth on the station and brought her daughter up with the aid of her sister.

During her stay on the station Kallie studied hard, she never forgave herself from running away on the Kidarra, for not saving her mother and her husband from the Borg. She learnt about weapons and combat studying under a Klingon commander serving with a small Klingon unit on the station. Three years after Wolf359 Kallie rejoined Starfleet, this time as an NCO. she didn't want the authority of officer hood again.

She spent her time on Starbase 210 as the stations weapons officer, responsible under the new commanding officer, her sister. When her daughter turned 14 she decided it was time to move on and accepted a transfer to the USS Edison. After a long hard goodbye to her sister Kallie and her daughter left for their new life.

Life aboard the Edison came as a system shock to Kallie, suddenly doubts crept back of her suitability in starfleet and her ability to keep focused with her daughter around. She tried hard for months to cope even for a time sending Sal to live with her sister. Captain Thorsson helped and advised Kallie who eventually, after being forced to relive the events, that claimed both her husband and her mother, by a telepathic alien race she finally accepted that it wasn't her fault. She applied to Starfleet to restore her comission, which they did at the increased rate of Lieutenant Commander. She was transfered with the crew of the Edison to the USS Athena as Strategic Operations Officer. Several months later Kallie was redefined as the Chief Tactical Officer.

Kallie's physical condition is still excellent. Though age affects El'Aurians less than most species, I did take a more extended look on the old injuries she has on her record. Though she has no problems with them at this very moment, I would recommend her to shift to more relaxting and agility sports such as yoga and judo at least twice a week.

I have informed Kallie of this, but it's up to her what she does with it. But she could use the relaxation especially because her daughter recently joined up with Starfleet and she's been worried.

Hormonally she is fine, though the abovementioned stress has increased the emission of Terraxion, the El'Aurian 'mother'-hormone. This has no further negative sideeffects, except for a light increase in abdominal fat-storage. Kallie could use this, so I am not prescribing any alterations in lifestyle for this.

Kallie's general stamina is good and I have found traces of 7 fever-inducing viral strands that her body has effectively destroyed over the last months without Kallie herself getting any fever. Her pneumal capacity is at 103% of the average human of her relative age.

I have no prescribed any anti-conceptional drugs at this time, seeing that Kallie has no use for them at this moment anyway. Her next phase is not due for another 3 months, which is after the next appointment.
