Commodore Lukas Karafiol was the founding Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sixth Fleet. Karafiol retired from active duty in late 2006, and his official whereabouts are unknown.

Before joining Sixth Fleet, Karafiol served with distinction as Tango Fleet's Deputy Commander-in-Chief, and he was invaluable in assisting with the transfer to Sixth Fleet as well as safeguarding the stability of Sixth Fleet while it was still in its infancy.
Upon his retirement in late October of 2006, Karafiol was voted a spot in Sixth Fleet's Hall of Honor.
Presently, Commodore Karafiol's whereabouts are unknown, although the Federation News Network (Sixth Fleet Bureau) once reported that Karafiol had been found alive floating in a one-man spacepod with six women.
