A Horta, Pullia is a Science Officer aboard the USS Athena (NCC-80353).
[edit] BACKGROUND
Pullia was one of the clutch hatched after Kirk and the Enterprise made it safe for Horta on their home world Janus V. It will not be time for the 10,000 years of nursing between clutches for quite a while yet. Pullia decided to leave home for adventures in Star Fleet. The last clutch of eggs was large, and he has approximately 16,000 siblings.
Due to his non-humanoid physiology, the silicon crewman is exempt from wearing a uniform, although he does have a sub-dermal universal translator implanted under his skin. He has been innoculated for appropriate Silicon-based diseases.
