Lieutenant Junior Grade Rebecca Anders is an Anthropologist and Anthropology Section Head for Zebra Station.

[edit] BACKGROUND

Rebecca shortly before Academy Convocation.

Born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Rebecca is a third generation Scientist, her father and paternal grandmother both working in the field. She was out going and popular in her youth, but has a habit of talking to much and digging herself in a hole. Regardless she had many friends in school and did well, graduating at 16 with honors. Despite being accepted into Starfleet she took a year off, not wanting to be younger then everyone else.

She spent the year traveling and visited Bajor, Vulcan, Telar and many of the other Core Worlds, before returning to Earth and taking her place at Starfleet. Her first year was pretty good, but she did have some problems with the Tactical components, not liking combat at all she nearly failed the marksmanship component of her training. However with dedication and extra training she got her scores up to the minimal pass, something still common among scientist in Starfleet.

In her third year she came to specialize in the Social and Behavioral Sciences, further specializing in Anthro in her fourth year. Following graduation she hoped on a transport for the Hurucan Sector being assigned as an Anthropologist station at the Sigma Librae Outpost under Commander Taylor Stark.

In 2387 she was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade and took over as Anthropology Head when the outpost transitioned to Zebra Station.
