Kallie graduated Starfleet Academy at the end of her fourth year with reasonable grades, she found herself assigned to the USS Enterprise C under the command of Captain Rachel Garrett. Life on the Enterprise was far different than Kallie had expected, she felt out of place and struggled to find friends aboard the ship. Not that they weren't trying but she could fit in. It took about two years aboard the Enterprise before she began to feel comfortable, but there was always a nagging feeling that she could never shake.

Kallie was moved to the USS Kidarra, it was an old science vessel her mother was assigned to, and within four years Kallie had worked hew way up to Lieutenant. In 2365 Kallie Married the ships second officer, Lieutenant Commander Jason Neston. They had fallen in love shortly after he has transferred aboard four years earlier. However two years after they were married, the USS Kidarra was called to an emergency. The fleet was combining at Wolf359 to face of against the Borg. Kallie and 32 other crew out of 312 survived, 16 confirmed dead all others assumed assimilated. Kallie had lost both her mother and her husband.

Kallie moved to live on Starbase 210 with her sister. She couldn't face starfleet, so she resigned where it was discovered that Kallie was pregnant with Jason's child. During her stay on the station Kallie studied hard, she never forgave herself from running away on the Kidarra, for not saving her mother and her husband from the Borg. She learnt about weapons and combat studying under a Klingon commander serving with a small Klingon unit on the station. Three years after Wolf359 Kallie rejoined Starfleet, this time as an NCO. she didn't want the authority of officer hood again.

She spent her time on Starbase 210 as the stations weapons officer, responsible under the new commanding officer, her sister. When her daughter turned 14 she decided it was time to move on and accepted a transfer to the USS Edison. After a long hard goodbye to her sister Kallie and her daughter left for their new life.
