The USS Edison (NCC-75159) is a Galaxy-class starship. She is retired from active duty, and has been stripped to speed up the build of other Galaxy-class vessels. It's spaceframe is currently undergoing repairs and will be rebuild in the future.

The crew of the Edison transferred to a new Galaxy Model named the USS Athena. Currently, they are under the command of Captain Douglas Makgill.
