The USS Orion (NCC-76303) was a Defiant-class starship that was stationed at Outpost K-7 during 2384.

Deployed on counter-piracy operations in the area surrounding the Klingon border and the Briar Patch, the Orion was ambushed and severely damaged en route to a rendezvous with the USS Cambrian. A number of personnel were transferred from the Cambrian in order to facilitate repairs, including the Orion's commander, Katerina Voronkova. The ship was diverted to the nearby Starbase 2 in order to undergo repairs.

The Orion is currently infested with NPC characters belonging to Jason Atkins.
