The USS Zodiac is a Steamrunner-class vessel based out of the Canopus Sector beyond the realm of the Romulan and Klingon Empires - a region of space once belonging to an ancient empire known as the Nomani Nation.
Supporting the Zodiac is an aging Federation K-7 class space station orbiting Canopus 4, crewed by a combination of Klingon and Federation forces.
The Zodiac's encounters have included fractured governments, pirate groups, hostile warlords, trade organizations bent on economical and socio-political domination.
Anything can happen when the unknown is common place and the Federation has sent a ship to explore another new frontier. The USS Zodiac: Boldly sending these men and women where no Federation vessels have gone before.
