Here is an outline of the various units of measure used within the Star Trek universe.

Used to measure anti-proton radiation.

Astronomical Unit (AU)
A Terran measure that is equal to the average distance between Earth and the Sun (Sol). [About 150 million kilometers or 93 million miles].

Baktur
Unit of measure of time of the extinct Tkon empire. A large amount of time, either many centuries or even millennia.

Bar
Unit of measure for Latinum. 20 Strips equal 1 bar.

Credit
Federation unit of monetary measure.

Darsek
Klingon unit of monetary measure, used on Maranga IV.

Decibel (db)
Unit of measure for sound intensity.

Denkir (dk)
A measure of volume used by the Zibalians. 100 denkirs is about 200 milliliters.

Direk
Karemma unit of monetary measure.

Dollar ($)
Ancient Terran unit of monetary measure.

Dorak
Unit of monetary measure used by Barkon IV.

Frang
Unit of money used by the Takarian people of the Delta quadrant.

Gigajoule (GJ)
Unit of energy measure, one billion joules.

Gigaquad (GQd)
Unit of computer information storage, one billion quads.

Gross Structural Compression (GSC)
Unit of structural compression.

Isoton
Unit of weight measurement used by the Federation. Also used to describe explosive yield. 1 isoton is equal to about 2.6 megatons.

Kellicam
Klingon unit of measure of distance. One kellicam is about equal to 2 kilometers.

Kellipate
Bajoran unit of measure of distance.

Kerripate
Bajoran unit of measure of land area. A kerripate is a fraction of a tessipate.

Ketric
Hirogen unit of measure of length, equaling several kilometers.

Kilodyne (kdyn)
A measure of force, equal to one thousand dynes.

KILOQUAD
Unit of computer information storage, one thousand quads.

Kolem
Romulan unit of measurement for power flow.

Kilometers Per Hour (kph)
Unit of measure used by the Federation for slower speeds.

Lek
Unit of measurement of Cardassian currency.

Light Year (ly)
Unit of measure of space distance. A light year is the distance it would take light to travel in a vacuum in one year. (Approximately 9.46 trillion kilometers)

Lita
Bajoran unit of currency.

Melakol
Romulan unit of measure for pressure.

Microdyne (µdyn)
Unit of measure of force, one-millionth of a dyne.

Micron (µm)
Unit of measure in length, one-millionth of a meter.

Millicochrane (mCh)
Unit of measure of subspace distortion.

Onkian
Romulan unit of temperature measure. 12 onkians equal 32 degress fahrenheit or 0 degrees celcius.

Parsec (pc)
Terran unit of astronomical distance measure. One parsec equals 3.26 light years.

Quatloo
A unit of money used by the Providers on the planet Triskelion for gambling wagers.

Renn
Mari unit of monetary measure.

Richter's Scale of Culture
A socialogical measurement that describes the development of a planetary culture.

Ritter Scale
A measurement of cosmic radiation.

Roentgen
Unit of measure of ionizing radiation.

Sahasra
A temperature scale developed by the Mizarians. Water freezes at 0 and boils at 1,000 sahasra, making 1° celsius (the Terran temperature scale) equal to 10 sahasra. The average human body temperature is 36.8° celsius (Wunderlich, 1861) and the average mizarian body temperature is 336 sahasra.

Sector
A defined area of space. A sector is 20 light years across.

Selton
Unit of measure used on the planet Barkon IV.

Slip
Unit of measurement for Latinum. 100 Slips equal 1 Strip.

Strip
Unit of measurement for Latinum. 20 Strips equal 1 Bar and 100 Slips equal 1 Strip.

Terawatt (Tw)
Measure of power, one trillion watts.

Tessipate
Bajoran unit of measurement of land area.
